The Materials Journalism Foundation, operators of tar.fyi and paper101.uk, have recieved invite-only membership into the Information Economy Allience earlier this week. MJF thanks the Social Centre for Research for Inclusive, Better and Equal Life (SCRIBE) for this incredible honour and opportunity.

The Information Economy Alliance is an prestigious independent network created by the Social Centre for Research for Inclusive, Better and Equal Life (SCRIBE) to strengthen serious publications operating outside the largest mainstream media institutions. Accredited IEA publications remain independent and may hold different political, cultural and intellectual perspectives.

Information Economy Alliance accreditation recognises publications that demonstrate a serious editorial purpose, a meaningful publishing record and compatibility with the Alliance’s principles. Accreditation cannot simply be purchased and is not automatically available through application.

The IEA is the next step in creating a better information economy, and MJF are all for it.
